QUESTIONS/ Answer's
Use the Aperture chart & Shutter Speed Chart to help you answer the following questions. 1.) What number f stop does a large aperture hole have? A large Aperture hole is F/2. F/2 is large. It focus's the closest object and blurs the back round. <<<<<<<<<<<<<Example<<<<<<<<<<<< the large aperture hole is f/2 2.) What type of aperture hole does F 6.5 have? F 6.5 has a small aperture hole. Not the smallest but its the second smallest aperture hole 3.) F in “F-Stop” also refers to: F stop also refers too aperture 4.) If you want to change the aperture to let in the least amount of light what would you set the aperture at? If i want to change the aperture to let the least amount of light i would set my aperture at F/11. 5.) If you want to change the aperture to let in the most amount of light, what would you set the aperture at? If i am changing the aperture to let in the most light i would change it too f/2.8 6.)The F-stop also determines the “depth of field” or how much depth of the picture will be in focus.Using the picture in the note explain how much of an image will be in focus if you use F 32? if we use F 32, the main object in the picture will be focussed way more than the background, because the large number = large f-stop (f/32) = The large amount of picture is in focus 7.) How much of the image will be in focus if you use the aperture of F 1.4? So, let's say you are using the 50mm f1.4 lens set to f8. The resultant picture shows a thick slice of area in focus, just as a normal zoom lens set to f8 would. If you misfocus slightly when shooting at f1.4, it won't be hidden like when shooting at f8. 8. If you want to adjust the shutter speed to capture or freeze something in motion, what would you setthe shutter speed at? 9.If you want adjust the shutter speed to create an image blur, what might you set the shutter speed at? 10.If you have your shutter speed at 1/25 you might consider using a tripod.
